Currently in the shop, we have these bases.  Fingering weight yarns will always be available with at least one workhorse type and one luxe blend. Other weights are available in fewer quantity. The wool is all mulesing free.

80/20 Superwash Bluefaced Leicester/Nylon

Fingering

2 Ply

Approx. 400 Yards/365 Meters

100g Skein

100% British BFL

BFL has a special place in my heart as the first fiber I learned how to spin.  This version is much nicer than my drop-spindle 2 ply.  BFL wool has a fairly long staple length making it very strong and sturdy, but also lofty with a natural sheen.

80/10/10 Superwash Merino/Cashmere/Nylon

Fingering

2 Ply

Approx. 400 Yards/365 Meters

100g Skein

Merino Sourced from Argentina & Uruguay

I'm a sucker for 2 Ply and this one's a doozy. Soft but strong with a nice drape and a bit of a cashmere halo, this base is totally rub on your face squishable.

60/20/20 Superwash Merino/Superfine Alpaca/Nylon

Fingering

4 Ply

Approx. 437 Yards/400 Meters

100g Skein

Merino Sourced from Argentina & Uruguay

Take your strong sock yarn up a level with this scrumptious, hazy alpaca blend. In my opinion, alpaca has the same oomph and squish of cashmere blends, but has better affordability.

100% Superwash Merino

Fingering

2 Ply

Approx. 400 Yards/365 Meters

100g Skein

Merino Sourced from Argentina & Uruguay

This wool takes dye like a dream! With a little sheen and 2 Ply texture, vibrant colors pop. It is soft, hardy and very wearable.

100% Superfine Merino in DK

Double Knit

4 Ply

Approx. 250 Yards/228 Meters

115g Skein

Merino Sourced from Argentina & Uruguay

Here we have it folks. A round DK yarn with a little bounce and some extra grams to help you along with your project. The 4 Ply twist is great for stitch definition, especially cabled knits.
